De Huygens is located in a child-friendly neighbourhood where hidden outdoor areas such as squares and playgrounds with a sandbox are ideal for children to play and do business safely. De Huygens, with its outdoor area, borders the WG square, where people regularly cycle, play or give toddler gymnastics.
Inside De Huygens you will find two horizontal groups: one baby group and one toddler group. The spaces and the soft appearance in De Huygens help to ensure that the children have a pleasant care environment. The spacious groups are light and attractively furnished with a different play area in each corner of the group, so that the children can choose from a variety of play options.
Monthly, the toddlers of De Huygens visit the elderly at Amsta residential and care centres to undertake fun activities together. Crafts, reading aloud or playing a game: both the elderly and the toddlers always have a good time during the visit.
Situated in a child-friendly neighborhood hidden behind squares and playgrounds.
The pedagogical staff involved encourage the children to discover their creativity to their heart’s content.
The children of 3 years and older are challenged weekly with various toddlerplus activities.
The employees have an impeccable sense of what the children need and know how to respond to their needs.
As at all other locations, De Huygens is regularly visited by guest teachers to introduce the children to dance, theatre, music, singing and art. These guest teachers contribute to the creative development of the children.
